Getting Started with Jaaims
 

HOW CAN I VERIFY MY ACCOUNT?
 

Your account will require three verifications which are all handled within the application. The first verification is your mobile number, where you will be sent a SMS message immediately by which you need to enter into the application to progress to the next stage of the sign-up process.

The second verification is your email address. Upon sign up you will be sent an email which you need to click the link within the email. This does not need to be done immediately, however does need to be completed before the trial period ends.

 

The final verification is an Anti-money Laundering (AML) check in line with our compliance requirements under our Australian Financial Services Licence and our obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act 2006. This is done behind the scenes once you enter your details into the application. The compliance team will be in touch if there are any abnormalities in your application, however in most cases this will be completed without disruption to you and you will be notified via email when this is complete.

HOW TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD

There are two ways to reset your password. The fastest way is through the application. On the signup page, below the login details there is a “Forgot Password” link. Please click this link and you will be asked to enter your login details (phone or email). Once this is entered, we will then send you an email with a password reset link.

NOT GETTING PASSWORD RESET EMAILS


If you are not receiving a reset email, either your email address has changed, or your email has not been verified. To rectify this, please contact our Customer Support team on +61 (0) 2 7908 0292 or email our support team on support@jaaimsapp.com and we will get this fixed for you.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY MOBILE NUMBER?

To change your mobile number, go to the “Menu” tab, located on the bottom right hand corner of the application. Click the link which will then reveal the Menu options. Please click “Profile” and then the Profile page will appear. Then, simply find the mobile number fields and update your mobile number. It’s important to note that you will then need to verify your mobile number. You should receive a text message to verify your number.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY EMAIL ADDRESS?

To change your email address, please go to the menu tab and click “Profile”. From there, you will be prompted to enter your new email address details. Click update once completed. Please note you will then need to verify your email again.

 

HOW DO I CLOSE MY ACCOUNT?

To close your account, you need to call through to our Customer Service centre or chat to us through the “Ask Jaaims feature within the application. This will not be an onerous process; we just don’t have the capabilities for users to close their account within the application.

Broker Management
 

CAN I CHANGE MY BROKER ACCOUNT CONNECTED TO JAAIMS?

Yes, you can. You will need to go to the “Menu” option and then select “Broker Details”. Here you can select your Broker.

 

Please note that adding and changing your Broker takes time and we do not recommend changing Brokers during your trial period. Further, you must close all trades prior to changing your Broker.

MY CURRENT BROKER ISN’T ON THE CONNECTED BROKERS LIST, DOES THAT MEAN IT’S NOT AVAILABLE?

Jaaims currently has two Brokers that we connect with. We will be adding a third Broker in October 2020 and these will be our Brokers to use with Jaaims.

You can also use Jaaims without a Broker although we do not recommend this as you miss out on the automation which is critical to the success of Jaaims. If you wish to change to one of our preferred Brokers, please contact our Customer Support team who can help you sign up with another Broker. 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY BROKER ACCOUNT TO BE CONNECTED TO MY JAAIMS ACCOUNT?

Connections should not take longer than 72 hours, however each Broker has their own process for sign up. Some Brokers require you to initiate the connection from their applications and others are managed behind the scenes between us and the Broker. You will be notified by email if you are required to initiate the connection.

HOW DOES ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR JAAIMS TO TRADE WITH, WORK?

Through Jaaims’ unique automation, Jaaims removes the need to calculate position size, removing the emotion which can sometimes affect decisions resulting in poor position size decision making.

 

So how does Jaaims do this?

 

Jaaims does this by determining the available funds in your Broker account using your funds allocation percentage you have set, then Jaaims uses this information to determine the total amount of funds available to place for trading. Once this is understood, Jaaims' artificial intelligence technology takes over, understanding market risks amongst many other factors to determine the optimum position size for you. Jaaims then executes the trade, doing this all within seconds without you doing a thing!

CAN I CHANGE THE AMOUNT OF FUNDS ALLOCATED TO JAAIMS?


Yes, you can change the amount you allow Jaaims to trade with at any time by going to the “Menu” tab and selecting the Allocate Funds option. You can then change the percentage of funds to your choosing.

 
Using Jaaims

HOW OFTEN DOES THE PRICING UPDATE FOR STOCKS WITHIN THE JAAIMS APPLICATION?

Stock/Equity pricing updates at the end of the day with the adjusted close price for each individual equity. This is the final price once all orders have been completed which comes through approximately one hour after the market has closed.

WHAT IS A POWER RATING AND HOW IS IT CALCULATED?

The Jaaims Power Rating is a confidence indicator for when Jaaims has a high amount of confidence in particular equity/stock’s prospects for profit in the near future. However, this isn't guaranteed.

WHY IS THE PROFIT VALUES IN JAAIMS DIFFERENT TO WHAT IS REPRESENTED IN MY BROKER ACCOUNT?

When calculating profit results Jaaims does not take into account your Broker fees as every customers fees are different depending on your trade volume. (Please see your Broker for more details). Furthermore, as you can place your own trades with your Broker outside of Jaaims, Jaaims can only identify the trade it makes, so we can only present profit values for the trades Jaaims makes.

WHY HASN'T MY DASHBOARD UPDATED?

Your home page/dashboard will only update once your portfolio has opened and closed one or more trades. It does not update whilst a trade is open owing to the fluctuations whilst markets are open.

HOW OFTEN DOES THE PROFIT AND LOSS UPDATE FOR STOCKS WITHIN THE JAAIMS APPLICATION?

Profit and Loss values update every 15 minutes in the Jaaims application. It is also important to note that the profit and loss amount does not include brokerage fees.

CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE BROKER CONNECTED TO MY JAAIMS ACCOUNT?

Unfortunately you can’t, you can only have one Broker connected to Jaaims at any one time.

CAN I OVERRIDE JAAIMS BUYING AND SELLING DECISIONS?

Yes you can, as you are always in control, however we would always recommend to let Jaaims complete the buying and selling cycle. You can override Jaaims decision by closing the trade within the Jaaims application by removing the stock from your portfolio or you can close the trade within your Broker account. Finally, you can stop Jaaims from trading altogether in the Menu tab by moving the “Trade Allocation Percentage” to 0%.

CAN I TURN OFF AUTOMATED TRADING?

Yes you can. In the Trade Settings section of the application you can turn automated trading off and turn it on at anytime.

CAN I PRE-APPROVE EVERY TRADE?

Yes you can. In the Trade Settings you can switch pre-approval to “on”. This approval is obtained through an SMS message to your registered mobile with a link that must be clicked to confirm the order within 90 minutes. After this time the trading opportunity is lost.

WHY HASN’T JAAIMS OPENED A TRADE?

Jaaims only opens trades once an opportunity arises. This means that currently even if an equity has a status as Long or Short it will not open once placed into your portfolio as the original opportunity has since passed.

I HAVE ADDED ONLY TRADES WITH THE TRADE PREDICTOR TO MY PORTFOLIO BUT THEY HAVE NOT ALL OPENED?
 
The trade predictor is not 100% accurate. Currently it is predicting trades at a 84.35% success rate.
