WHAT DEVICES ARE JAAIMS AVAILABLE ON?


Jaaims is a mobile only application and will not work on a desktop web browser. Jaaims will also be available through the iOS and Google App stores in May/June 2020.




HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH JAAIMS?


To create an account with Jaaims, you can sign up online through our website. By saving the web page to your mobile homepage it will allow the application to act as an App prior to our launch in the Apple and Google App stores in May/June 2020. Also, our Customer Service team is more than happy to help you, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch!




DOES MY CREDIT CARD GET CHARGED ON SIGN UP?


No your Credit Card does not get charged on sign up. We do verify the card using Stripe, which will see a $0.00 preliminary charge appear on your statement. Once the trial period is over, you will then be charged automatically. If you don’t wish to proceed past the trial, please contact Customer Service centre to cancel your subscription.




HOW CAN I VERIFY MY ACCOUNT?


Your account will require three verifications which are all handled within the application. The first verification is your mobile number, where you will be sent a SMS message immediately by which you need to enter into the application to progress to the next stage of the sign-up process.

The second verification is your email address. Upon sign up you will be sent an email which you need to click the link within the email. This does not need to be done immediately, however does need to be completed before the trial period ends.

The final verification is an Anti-money Laundering (AML) check in line with our compliance requirements under our Australian Financial Services Licence and our obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act 2006. This is done behind the scenes once you enter your details into the application. The compliance team will be in touch if there are any abnormalities in your application, however in most cases this will be completed without disruption to you and you will be notified via email when this is complete.




DO YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE JAAIMS APPLICATION TO USE JAAIMS?


No you don’t, accessing through the mobile web browser is the same user experience as through the mobile application.




WHICH OPERATING SYSTEMS DOES JAAIMS SUPPORT?


iOS and Android only. Jaaims may work on other operating systems however, we cannot guarantee the smooth operation compared to iOS and Android operating systems.




HOW OFTEN DOES THE PRICING UPDATE FOR STOCKS WITHIN THE JAAIMS APPLICATION?


Stock/Equity pricing updates at the end of the day with the Adjusted Close price for each individual equity. This is the final price once all orders have been completed which comes through approximately one hour after the market has closed.




HOW OFTEN DOES THE PROFIT AND LOSS UPDATE FOR STOCKS WITHIN THE JAAIMS APPLICATION?


Profit and Loss values update every 15 minutes in the Jaaims application.




HOW MANY STOCKS/EQUITIES CAN I HAVE IN MY PORTFOLIO?


This depends on your subscription. We currently have two subscription types: Starter and Standard. We will be launching our Professional subscription launching around July 2020. The various equity values are below.


Starter: 5 stocks/equities

Standard: 20 stocks/equities
Professional: 40 stocks/equities




CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE BROKER CONNECTED TO MY JAAIMS ACCOUNT?


Unfortunately you can’t, you can only have one Broker connected to Jaaims at any one time.




CAN I OVERRIDE JAAIMS BUYING AND SELLING DECISIONS?


Yes you can, as you are always in control, however we would always recommend to let Jaaims complete the buying and selling cycle. You can override Jaaims decision by closing the trade within the Jaaims application by removing the stock from your portfolio or you can close the trade within your Broker account. Finally, you can stop Jaaims from trading altogether in the Menu tab by moving the “Trade Allocation Percentage” to 0%.




WHAT IS A POWER RATING AND HOW IS IT CALCULATED?


The Jaaims Power Rating is a confidence indicator for when Jaaims has a high amount of confidence in particular equity/stock’s prospects for profit in the near future. However, this isn't guaranteed.




CAN YOU REVIEW THE HISTORY ON AN APP?


At this stage you cannot however this is coming in the immediate future. To begin with you will need to obtain this information through your broker.




CAN I CALL AND SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN JAAIMS?


Yes, we love hearing from our customers to not only help you with using Jaaims but to hear your feedback so we can continue to improve our product. The best way to contact us is through the application using the “Ask Jaaims” function. However, we are also available by phone on +61 (0) 2 7908 6927 or via email on support@jaaimsapp.com. We are available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.




CAN I BUY GIFT VOUCHERS FOR JAAIMS?


Yes you can, you can purchase 12-month subscription packages as a gift. Please contact our Customer Service centre on the above details.




HOW DO I GIVE FEEDBACK ABOUT JAAIMS?


You can give feedback to Jaaims through multiple methods. The best way is through our “Ask Jaaims” feature within the application. Alternatively, you can drop us an email or phone us.




HOW TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD


There are two ways to reset your password. The fastest way is through the application. On the signup page, below the login details is a “Forgot Password” link. Please click this link where you will be asked to enter your login details (phone or email). Once this is entered, we will then send you an email with a password reset link.

NOT RECEIVING PASSWORD RESET EMAILS


If you are not receiving a reset email, either your email address has changed, or your email has not been verified. To rectify this, please contact our Customer Service centre on +612 7202 6927 or email our support team on support@jaaimsapp.com and we will get this fixed for you.




HOW DO I CHANGE MY MOBILE NUMBER?


To change your mobile number, go to the “Menu” tab, located on the bottom right hand corner of the application. Click the link which will then reveal the Menu options. Please click “Profile” and then the Profile page will appear. Then simply find the mobile number fields and update your mobile number. It’s important to note that you will then need to verify your mobile number. You should receive a text message to verify your number.




HOW DO I ADD OR REMOVE MY CARD ON MY ACCOUNT?


To change your credit card details, please go to the menu tab and click payment. From there, you will be prompted to enter your credit card details. Click “update” once completed.




HOW DO I CHANGE MY EMAIL ADDRESS?


To change your email address, please go to the menu tab and click “Profile”. From there, you will be prompted to enter your credit card details. Click update once completed. Please note you will then need to verify your email again.




HOW DO I CLOSE MY ACCOUNT?


To close your account, you need to call through to our Customer Service centre or chat to us through the “Ask Jaaims” feature within the application. This will not be an onerous process; we just don’t have the capabilities for users to close their account within the application




HOW DO I UPGRADE MY ACCOUNT?


To upgrade your account, please call through to Customer Service or chat to us through “Ask Jaaims”. This will not be an onerous process; we just don’t have the capabilities for users to upgrade their account within the application. The upgrade will commence immediately, and your credit card will be charged pro-rata the difference.




HOW DO I DOWNGRADE MY ACCOUNT?


To downgrade your account, please either call our Customer Service centre or chat to us through ‘Ask Jaaims”. This will not be an onerous process; we just don’t have the capabilities for users to downgrade their account within the application. The downgrade will commence at the end of the current month of your subscription.




CAN I USE THE JAAIMS APPLICATION OVERSEAS?


Currently, you must be an Australian resident to use the Jaaims application as per our financial services licence. Jaaims will be expanding to the UK in 2021.
